Based on the murder of a member of my family and inspired by the book, Dark Skies Over School Wynd, by Scottish author and pop-artist, Dominic J. Currie, "The Revenge of Mickey Broon," is part "buddy picture," part “CSI: 1909-style,” and part coming-of-age picture -- with mystical elements borrowed from Scottish lore.
